AJ Raval dreams of becoming an action star like Jeric Raval: ‘Idol ko tatay ko’

Compared to her previous films with co-star Sean de Guzman like Taya and Nerisa, AJ Raval said their latest project Hugas is way different from anything they’ve done in the past year.“Unang una siyempre action ito at may mga training kami dito para maging astig yung mga kilos namin. Siguro yung bond namin ni Sean, meron kaming natural chemistry. Yung bond namin naging mas deep kasi nagka-work na kami ng ilang beses. Also lumalabas din kami minsan kahit walang work. Siguro sa mga love scenes namin makikita niyo dun yung love. Siyempre, parang yung parents natin ginagaya natin. Siyempre idol ko tatay ko at sa kanya ako open kung bakit nag-artista ako at paano nag-start dahil sa dad ko. Siyempre gusto ko sumunod sa yapak niya. Gusto ko mag-action din. Gusto ko yung mga fight scene na MMA, may Muay Thai, parang ganun. Mas nahihirapan ako mag-strip kesa sa action stunts. Kasi ang action sa akin parang normal na lang din na ginagawa ko. Parang na-e-enjoy ko pa siya pag tini-take yun. But AJ said her father is letting her enjoy and discover her own path in the industry.“Wala naman ako na-receive na any tips sa tatay ko, ang ginawa niya ginuide niya ako kung paano humawak ng baril, kunwari yung tamang pag-ro-rolling, tapos sa fight scenes tinuruan niya ako sumipa ng mataas at sumuntok ng diretso. Tinuruan niya ako sa mga ganung bagay. Also meron na din kaming nakuhang bahay, pero hindi siya sa akin. Pinagtulungan namin ng tatay ko, kaming dalawa. Kinuha namin ng bahay yung side ng mother ko, yung mga kapatid ko dun.
