Hero Angeles plays gay character in new show: ‘I am really happy’

<p>Hero Angeles couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to play a gay character in an episode of the anthology <i>Dear God</i>.</p><div><iframe allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen="" frameBorder="0" height="653" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/S2qZ9xLZUZs" title="YouTube video player" width="1693"></iframe></div><p>The 37-year-old actor stars alongside Ritz Azul in the episode titled <i>Sammie and Jackie</i>, where the latter takes on the role of a lesbian.</p><p>Hero said his heart is full of gratitude because he was given the opportunity to snag a project despite the situation brought about by the pandemic. </p><p>“Isang malaking pasasalamat kay God sa blessing na ito. I am grateful for the opportunity na makapagtrabaho sa kabila ng kinakaharap nating pagsubok sa panahon ng pandemya,” he said. </p><div><a lives encountered, transformed, and blessed by God,” is “very inspirational,” according to Hero. </p><p>“Very inspiring ang story na ito at maraming nakapaloob na aral,” he remarked. </p><p>He also
