Piolo Pascual all praises for ‘Flower of Evil’ co-star Lovi Poe: ‘She was always game to do anything’

With his drama series <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/foe2022">Flower of Evil</a> all set to end its four months run this weekend, Piolo Pascual admitted he couldn’t have been any prouder of all the hard work he put in the Philippine remake of the hit 2020 South Korean series of the same name.“Ang sarap niya panuorin eh. Of course the effort that everyone put in, yun yung ma-a-appreciate mo. And what everyone was giving, nakakahiya if you‘re not going to step up to the plate and give it your best. Pag pinapanuod ko nakaka-miss talaga yung grupo eh. It’s something na talagang babalik balikan mo with a smile on your face, with fond memories. Because just wanted to really make it work and everyone was eager to just do something. Coming into the show, siya yung bago eh. She was always scared, she was always fearful kasi ang laki ng scope ng character niya. But siguro one thing that made it easy chemistry-wise was she was really there. Yung innate talent, her skills. I was floored. We just draw from each other’s emotions and it was easy for us because we both wanted to just make it work and make it more beautiful.“So we were on the same page the whole time. She was supporting me and I was supporting her through and through kaya nga nakakabitin kasi alam mong puwede pa eh, alam mong meron pa kayong puwedeng gawin.“And watching her do different scenes, especially yung mga action scenes niya, it was a delight to watch kasi wala siyang pakialam kahit maaksidente, binato ni Joko Diaz, tumama yung likod niya. She was okay. She was always game to do anything just to make it work so nakaka-miss yung ganun. The Philippine remake of the hit South Korean series is directed by by Darnel Villaflor and Richard Arellano It also stars Joross Gamboa, Agot Isidro, Joem Bascon, Denise Laurel, Epy Quizon, Rita Avila, Jett Pangan, Pinky Amador, and Joko Diaz.
