After arriving in New York City this week to perform at the Palladium Times Square for their WYAT (Where You At) show this weekend, Filipino pop group SB19 marked another milestone in their career during their visit as they made their American television debut after performing “WYAT” on the local news channel FOX 5 New York. “WYAT” has already garnered four million streams on popular streaming site Spotify as of this writing.

Currently on their global tour, SB19 made history by becoming the first and only Pinoy act to enter three Billboard charts early in their career.

While in New York, the five-member group also paid a visit to the office of the Philippine Consulate. They wrote, “SB19 is grateful to have met the wonderful people at Sentro Rizal of the Philippine Consulate General in New York. As the Youth and Sentro Rizal Ambassadors of NCCA, we are committed to promoting Filipino genius and culture, especially music, on the global stage.”

SB19 first announced their WYAT world tour dates last September. Before flying to the US, the group also performed in Dubai. After performing in New York, the group’s next stop in the US is Los Angeles, California. Their last international stop this year will be in Singapore on November 27 with additional dates of the tour expected to be released. SB19 also celebrated their fourth year anniversary as a group last October.
