Google released its Year in Search 2022, a list of the most searched topics on the search engine in the Philippines this year.

"See what Google Trends reveal about the questions we shared, the people who inspired us, and the moments that captured the world’s attention each year," the search engine posted upon the unveiling of the most trending topics of 2022.

Google added that 2022 "was defined by our collective search for change and new possibilities."

Basketball player Ricci Rivero was the most searched male personality on Google this year in the Philippines. Meanwhile, Amber Heard was the most searched female personality.

Netflix series All of Us Are Dead topped the most searched TV show list on Google PH. Disney's Encanto was the most searched movie, while its soundtrack “We Don't Talk About Bruno” was the most searched song lyrics.
