Kim Soo-hyun to hold fan meeting at the Big Dome in January 2023

South Korean actor Kim Soo-hyun is returning to Manila next year for a fan meeting.

Food brand Dunkin' announced on Saturday, December 3, that Soo-hyun will be holding his "The Nothing like Dunkin'" fan meeting at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on January 17, 2023.

"Annyeong! #DunkinPHxKimSoohyun 😍 KIM SOOHYUN Fan Meet in the Philippines- SOON! Tickets will be available at select Dunkin’ stores. Stay tuned for more details💜🧡," Dunkin' announced on social media.

Fans were quick to react to the announcement and expressed their excitement about Soo-hyun's fan meet in the Philippines.

"Thank you very Ninang Dunkin' for this early Christmas Gift!" one fan said.

"TYSM Dunkin' for this early Christmas gift 😭❤️ We love #KimSoohyun so much," another fan commented.

"Nice one Dunkin'! I also love your Spanish Latte!!!" another fan said.

It will be Soo-hyun's second time to hold a fan meeting in the Philippines after his fan meet with a Filipino clothing brand this year.

During an interview with the media back in June in Manila for his previous fan meeting, the Korean actor expressed his excitement to be in the Philippines again after he first visited the country in 2017.

Soo-hyun expressed his happiness upon his return to the Philippines a few months ago and said that he missed his Filipino fans.

"The eyes of the fans, not just the fans but generally the Filipino people, they got the eyes of the angel. And the eyes have power, so I believe I miss them the most," he stated during the interview.

He also shared the things that he wanted to try in the Philippines someday.



"First I want to go to Boracay for swimming. Of course I like to swim every time and the Philippines is known for beautiful beaches so I would like to go. I also would like to try some food that’s grilled, like ihaw-ihaw," he remarked.

Soo-hyun made his television debut in Korea in 2007 in the family sitcom Kimchi Cheese Smile.

He catapulted to global fame after starring in the fantasy romantic series  My Love from the Star.

Other acting projects of Soo-hyun include It's Okay to Not Be Okay, The Producers, Dream High, and Moon Embracing the Sun, among others.
