After confirming her breakup with Diego Loyzaga earlier this month, Barbie Imperial has kept herself busy focusing on work and promoting her latest project The Goodbye Girl which pairs her with former MYX VJ-turned-actor Turs Daza. The pretty actress shared her personal views on ending relationships during the mediacon for the new iWantTFC series.

“I think I’ve said this before a lot of times already. Hindi ako mabilis mag-give up na girlfriend. But if I feel like the other person is not growing with me, that’s the time I say goodbye na talaga. Kasi para saan pa ako mag-se-stay if parang wala na akong naaambag sa growth mo?” she said.

The 23-year-old actress also admitted that in her past relationships she was the one who usually initiated the breakup.

“Based on experience, ako din ang nag-gu-goodbye.

Learning from her The Goodbye Girl co-star Angelica Panganiban who has always been vocal when it comes to her views about love and relationships, Barbie said she is now more confident to speak up because of Angelica.

Paambon ni Ms. Angelica Panganiban,” she admitted.

When asked if she could share any advice for those who have been left behind in relationships, Barbie gave some words of comfort.

You just have to remember that this is life eh. We get hurt but we learn from it. So dun sa experience na yun may makukuha tayo so okay lang na masaktan. Tao ka lang naman,” she said.

Watch Barbie Imperial and Turs Daza in “The Clueless Girl” episode of The Goodbye Girl. Produced by Dreamscape Entertainment and Clever Minds Inc., The Goodbye Girl starts streaming on February 14, with a new episode dropping daily on the iWantTFC app (iOS and Android) and website (iwanttfc.com).
