As one of the stars to the sequel of director Lawrence Fajardo’s 2011 film X-Deal, Angela Morena said that her latest project has a lot to offer in comparison to the first film which starred Paloma, Jamilla Obispo, and Jon Hall.

“Kung napanuod niyo yung X-Deal 1 na talagang nag-viral siya at nag-trending, nag-number one (sa Vivamax), paano pa itong X-Deal 2? Kaya nga siya nagkaroon ng X-Deal 2 kasi maganda yung X-Deal 1. At mas pasabog ngayon. Sobrang galing ni direk Law (Fajardo). Grabe yung mga kuha niya. Maraming pasabog talaga yung X-Deal 2. Kasi hindi lang siya erotic film, it’s also a drama. lalo na sa mga characters, ang dmaing pasabog. Magugulat kayo na nagawa niya yun (laughs),” she said.

In the film, Angela plays the role of a lesbian named Olivia who ends up running into an ex-boyfriend and his current partner while on a solo vacation in an exclusive island resort.

“Siguro yung biggest challenge is yung dark past ni Olivia. Kasi dito makikita niyo na hindi lang present time ni Olivia yung meron. Dito malalaman niyo yung reason bakit siya nasa island at bakit niya ginagawa ‘to, at bakit siya into girls. So na-overcome niya yun by fighting for herself. Kasi isa rin sa natutunan ko dito sa movie is hindi porke’t babae ka, mahina ka. Na bilang babae kailangan matuto tayong lumaban at tumayo sa sarili natin,” she shared.

In real life, Angela said she would never agree to a set-up like what her characters agreed to in the film.

“Personally hindi. Kasi kapag ex na, ex na. Pag past na you have to let go and leave it. ayoko ng balikan. Lalo na sex yung x-deal ninyo. Parang no, as babae ikaw yung talo dun eh,” she added.

As one of Viva’s most promising new artists, Angela revealed that she is very comfortable with her body and with what she shows onscreen. “Kuntento na ako sa kung anong meron ako at sa kung ano ako. I’m happy,” she said.

When asked what she thinks sets her apart from the rest of the sexy actresses in the industry today, the X-Deal 2 star got candid with the press during a recent mediacon event. “Natatakot ako sabihin pero I have nothing against them. I am all natural,” she confidently said.

Proud of her latest project, Angela said viewers can get a lot more than just watching sexy scenes in X-Deal 2.

“Ang natutunan ko sa aking character na si Olivia, number one is all about women empowerment. Na hindi porke’t babae ka mahina ka. Dito mapapakita na yung babae marunong lumaban at tumayo sa sarili niyang paa at merong pinaglalaban. Pangalawa na natutunan ko na a girl can become a woman of her word. Na kapag sinabi niya na gagawin niya, na kapag nakipag-deal siya, walang atrasan ‘to. And lastly na natutunan ko is you have to be wise. Lalo na pag ikaw ay nakikipag-exchange deal. Na bago mo siya pasukin, bago ka umoo, kailangan alam mo yung consequence ng mangyayari. Kasi hindi biro yung makipag-exchange deal,” she said.
