During the first season of their series He’s Into Her, lead stars Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano played enemies turned lovers, with Donny’s character Deib bullying Belle when she first transferred to his school. In their upcoming new season, Donny said his character will end up having to face the consequences of his actions in the past.

“I guess it shows that hindi lang puro sunshine and rainbows ang pag-ibig. It’s a rollercoaster ride. you will have to choose to go through it together. In the end, pag nagawa niyo lahat yun, it will be all worth it naman. So there are a lot of twists and turns that happens, but it’s your choice together if you will go through those hurdles. Because that’s what it’s all about. Hindi lang yung puro happy.

“There’s so much hatred already in the world. So much is going on. We should contribute to the goodness and we will make mistakes from time to time because we’re human. But what’s important is we acknowledge these mistakes and move forward. With Deib, that’s important. But that does not mean you will not face the consequences of your actions.”

With her role as the independent and confident Max who fought back against bullies in the series, Belle said people should focus on doing more positive things for each other instead.

“When it comes to bullying obviously we should not tolerate it. We should avoid it as much as possible. Totoo na during these times, what we need most is love and care for one another. Instead of just pulling each other down, we should just help each other to stand up and rise and we should lift each other up,” she added.
