Jay R fulfills dream of singing at the NBA: ‘I hope I made all the Filipinos in the house proud’

<p>Last March 29, R&amp;B singer Jay R fulfilled one of his dreams by performing the US national anthem “The Star Spangled Banner” at the Crypto.com Arena (formerly known as the Staples Center) in Los Angeles, California before the start of a game between NBA teams Los Angeles Clippers and Utah Jazz. “Twas an honor to represent the Philippines for Filipino Heritage Night for the NBA. I hope I made all the Filipinos in the house proud,” he shared in an Instagram post before his performance. “I’m kind of nervous and I’m kind of not because we’re ready. this is what we live for,” he come true for him to perform the national anthem in public for the first time. What a dream come true. But the dream doesn’t stop there.
