Celeste Cortesi on winning the Miss Universe PH 2022 crown: ‘I am beyond honored and grateful’

<p>Miss Universe Philippines 2022 winner Celeste Cortesi took to social media to pen a message as she reflected about her journey towards the crown.</p><p>In an Instagram post, Celeste remarked, &quot;Good morning Universe 💫 Yesterday, as I was walking on that beautiful stage all I was thinking was my mom and dad. </p><p>The strength I got from them is indescribable.&quot;</p><p>Celeste remarked that her achievement is a result of a combination of hard work and faith.</p><p>&quot;I’ve worked so hard for this, I’ve prepared. And I let God do the rest in knowing that whatever is meant for me will never pass me by,&quot; she stated.</p><p>The beauty queen also reflected on the growth she experienced for the past years and The risk you’re afraid to take will change your life.&quot;</p><p>Celeste was crowned as Miss Universe Philippines 2022 on Saturday, April 30, at the Mall of Asia Arena.</p><p>This is the second time Celeste won a national pageant crown. She won Miss Philippines 2018 back then.</p>
