A video of James Reid kissing a guy on the cheek has made the rounds online. Some have now begun to speculate about the actor-singer’s sexuality.

In the said video, friends gathered at a place can be seen singing “Happy Birthday” to James. At the end of the video, James gave the guy beside him a kiss on the cheek.

But it seems James feels unbothered over the speculations of the public as he had the most unexpected reaction to the video. He simply commented on the TikTok video with “Is true?”

Apparently, the guy in the video is a friend of James named James Thomas. The said guy happens to be James’s business partner in several restos they are running together.

A Facebook page dedicated to James dispelled the rumors with a Facebook post.

“James is very much amused by the reactions, we’re happy that you’re happy for his ‘new relationship’ but sadly no,  #JaJa is not true,” James Reid - REIDers wrote in the caption.

“James Reid and James Thomas have been very good friends for a while now, he is also his business partner at Brooklyn Industries Group, Pop Up Katipunan, and Notorious Concepts,” it added.

James’s last known relationship was with Nadine Lustre.
