It’s been three years since he parted ways with ex-girlfriend Julia Barretto after a two-year romance and Joshua Garcia said that he has already moved on from the relationship despite staying single since then. Last May 22, the Darna actor was spotted attending the Star Magic 30th All Star Games along with good friend Daniel Padilla.

“Siyempre dapat suportahan natin yung mga kaibigan natin. Hindi lang yung kaibigan siyempre suporta ako sa Star Magic kasi sa event nila na ito. And siyempre para din makita ako ng mga tao. Para din worth it yung binayad nila,” he said.

When asked regarding his reaction Julia’s recent advice to him, “‘Wag ka muna mag-girlfriend,” the 24-year-old actor had a good-natured response. “Palagi niyang sinasabi yun pag nagkikita kami (laughs). Sabi ko sa kanya, ‘Bakit? Ikaw lang puwede?’ Okay naman. Actually parang lahat ng naging girlfriend ko naging kaibigan ko rin naman,” he admitted.

Alam mo kung mahal mo ang isang tao, nandudun ka para sa growth niya. At saka kahit masakit man, pero okay na yun. Tapos na yun,” he added.
With his ex-girlfriend and former leading lady now happy with her relationship with Gerald Anderson, Joshua shared that he is nothing but happy for her. “Oo naman.
