Star Magic head Lauren Dyogi unveiled as MEGA Man’s latest cover star

<p>For the first time, Star Magic head Lauren M. Dyogi appears on the cover of lifestyle magazine MEGA Man for its June issue. </p><p>The ABS-CBN executive looked neat and dapper as he posed in a black bespoke suit and trousers by JOAQUIN Official. magazine, Lauren talked about his introverted personality—his commanding but quiet presence that has earned him a certain reputation in the industry. </p><p>&quot;I&#x27;m quiet, so people think I&#x27;m mysterious. [But] there&#x27;s a lot of emotions going on inside. There&#x27;s just a lot of things that you have to absorb, think about, and synthesize before you make any judgment. As a director, I was taught to think fast and make decisions fast. I think those things help me,&quot; he said. </p><p>&quot;You can&#x27;t panic. Especially nowadays, you can&#x27;t show panic because a lot of people rely on you. A lot are also going through mental issues. And when you&#x27;re going through that, it&#x27;s nice to have people around who are seemingly grounded.&quot;</p><p>He then added: &quot;Siguro dahil tumanda na rin ako. I went through my own mental crisis, mental issues. [But] it&#x27;s a good thing that I have a very supportive family and a very supportive work. Someone helped me. I get into, you know, trying to meditate, trying to just be okay mentally. That was the personal challenge that I went through,&quot; he said. </p><p>&quot;But it&#x27;s not only me. A lot of my artists went through that and a lot of my staff members went through it and are still going through it. It&#x27;s a good thing I experienced this so I can relate fully to them. Minsan sasabihin mo, &#x27;A, kaya mo &#x27;yan, anuhin mo lang &#x27;yan.&#x27; It&#x27;s real. Mental issues are real, and it&#x27;s tough. He said that the COVID-19 pandemic has changed his perspective on retiring.</p><p>&quot;I wanted to just stay at home, relax, then the pandemic came, sumobra naman ang pag-stay home,&quot; he said, then added: &quot;You can&#x27;t abandon the family at this point.&quot;</p><p>Stripped of his titles and accolades, Lauren would describe himself as really just a simple person.</p><p>&quot;I&#x27;m just learning these past few years that I&#x27;m really just a simple person. I&#x27;ve realized that mga dating gusto ko, mga luho, I don&#x27;t like them anymore. Now, I just want to enjoy the company of my family. Re-prioritize. You&#x27;re more confident about how you provide for your family, how you live your life. Everything will be okay. I&#x27;m at that moment where I just want to enjoy my life,&quot; he said.</p>
