After the successful run of Viral Scandal which ended earlier this year, actor Miko Raval shared how his life is now after working on the popular primetime series. The Star Magic actor has returned to focusing on his garments manufacturing business.

“I started this with my ex-girlfriend who is now my wife (laughs). We started this back in 2014. So until now it’s going well, it’s going strong, it’s getting better every single year. So that’s what I’m focusing on when I’m not acting.

“Okay naman ako. Nakapagpahinga na. Focus naman ako on other stuff other than acting. I’m focusing on my business so that’s going well naman.

“So we create uniforms for companies, corporate giveaways. Good thing we were able to survive during the pandemic because we were able to provide mga PPEs, mga face masks, so yung yung demand for our company. That’s how we shifted our business to cater to the pandemic. So if ever you need one, you may contact us on our Facebook page Steeze Design Studios,” he told PUSH in an exclusive interview.

Looking back on his role as patriarch Dan Sicat, Miko said he will miss portraying the character.

“May angas siya na medyo fun na father na parang kabarkada niya lang yung mga anak niya. So it was fun playing around with my co-actors there. Siguro what I will miss most about it is yung working environment namin. Especially yung pamilya Sicat. Yung nabuo namin na family dun.

“Kasi talagang hindi lang kami naging friends dun eh. Hindi lang kami naging colleagues, hindi lang kami naging co-actors, naging family talaga kami. Hindi lang yung pamilya Sicat kundi yung buong cast, yung buong crew kasi being in a bubble, it’s so different. It makes you discover a lot of things within you and sa mga kasama mo din,” he shared.

After all the positive feedback from the show, Miko admitted he is ready to do more father roles if it is offered to him.

“Okay naman sa akin because the past two projects that I’ve done were really good, it was received very well and kung yun naman yung mabigay sa akin ng management, why not di ba? I mean, I’m not the type to reject projects so whatever is on the table, let’s study it and see from there.

While doing Viral Scandal I discovered na kaya ko pala mag-heavy drama. But personally, I want to do mga comedy para something new naman. Para malabas ko din naman yung pagigiing baliw ko in a way. But whatever is given to me talaga, I will study it first and then we’ll see from there,” he admitted.

Aside from doing drama, Miko said he would love to get the chance to show off his comedic skills onscreen.

“If you’re close to me and if you’re one of my ten closest friends, you would know me pretty well. Mukha kasi akong mayabang. Mukha akong maangas with my height and my bigote and all. Pero if you ask the people closest to me they would probably tell you otherwise. Sa ngayon wala pa project. May mga nilalatag pa lang and then I’m looking at it and thinking about it so wala pa talagang concrete plans right now,” he said.
