Kryz Uy shared that her seven-week-old son's surgery has been successful.

In an Instagram post, Kryz relayed that her second son Sevi is now recovering after the operation.

"Snaps from the weekend with our little warrior. Thank you Lord and all of Sevi’s doctors and caregivers for the successful surgery and to the Skyfam for the prayers and well wishes Our brave little boy is recovering well," she posted on social media on Tuesday, July 19.

It can be recalled that Kryz revealed in one of her recent vlogs that Sevi had inguinal hernia and that the baby had to undergo surgery.

According to mayoclinic.org, the condition "occurs when tissue, such as part of the intestine, protrudes through a weak spot in the abdominal muscles. The resulting bulge can be painful, especially when you cough, bend over or lift a heavy object."

"Unfortunately, we discovered that Sevi has inguinal hernia and it needs to be operated on. Whenever he cries, it triggers the hernia to bulge out and I know he’s not supposed to experience pain when that happens but it still hurts my heart to see it," Kryz said in the vlog she uploaded on July 17.

Kryz said that discovering Sevi's condition was a total surprise for them as they thought that Sevi was a healthy baby all along.

“It caught us by surprise. We thought he was a healthy baby boy. We had so many tests done,” the YouTuber stated.

Kryz said that the doctors advised them for Sevi to be operated on as soon as possible.

"I keep telling myself that I can’t be the mentally praning, scatter-brained mom. I have to be present and I have to be strong for Sevi. Even though it’s really difficult for me and even though I’m used to having my hand held, I’m going to try to be strong this time around," she said in her vlog back on July 17.

Kryz gave birth to Sevi in May 2022.

Sevi is the second child of Kryz with husband Slater Young. Their first son Scottie was born in June 2020.
