In her latest <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/maalaalamokaya">Maalaala Mo Kaya</a> episode this month, Heaven Peralejo shared that she also learned a lesson about love from her role as Wena in the drama anthology.“Yung character ko kasi nasaktan na siya by her past tapos nangyari pa yung sa mom niya so hindi din kanais-nais. So basically very brokenhearted siya. And may time din na ganun din ako and sumakto there was this guy na who was very persistent and what my character showed me is what real love is and that it’s okay to get hurt. That’s part of love. Pero not in a toxic way. May time na hindi na kami nag-usap just because ganun talaga when you get older sometimes nagkakaroon ng ibang chapter sa kanya-kanyang buhay.“But nung time na nag-taping kami we got to talk to each other and parang walang pinagbago. As in para kaming mga 17 years old again and just talking about life in a mature way na. Siyempre iba na rin talaga. Nag-usap din kami about sa past namin, kumusta na, ganyan ganyan. And nakakatuwa lang na parang siguro nga everything happens for a reason and I think the timing is right. The timing was perfect. Sobrang bilis namin mag-work lang. Hindi naman mahirap for me kasi kilala ko din naman si Markus and I trust him. Wala namang masama sa love team and everything but siguro for my acting life, I think for improving me as an actress, parang I want to work with a lot of people also. For me there’s no problem with it but at the same time it’s okay with me kahit walang love team kasi I get to be a versatile actress and that’s what I want din naman,” she added.
