‘Hobipalooza’ J-Hope gets crowd pumped at Lollapalooza

<p>Korean artist and BTS member J-Hope made history at the Lollapalooza music festival last July 31 as he was the first South Korean artist to be a headliner at the main stage for the event. He performed 18 songs which included his songs in his first album, <em>Jack in the Box</em>, his first mixtape, <em>Hope World</em>, among others.</p><blockquote class="instagram-media" his fans who came. He added he was proud of himself for “overcoming this moment.”</p><p>“Today is a meaningful moment for me. This is just part of the process of an album that started with greed and ambition reaching a grand finale. After the performance, the two shared what they had experienced, both as an audience member and as a performer.</p><p>For Jimin, he really attended the music festival to support his fellow BTS member who performed by solo. On the other hand, J-Hope thanked him for being beside him even before the actual performance.</p><p>“Jimin’s help played a big role. On Twitter, different netizens shared how unreal and good J-Hope’s performance was.</p><p>“I pour my heart and soul into my music. I hope you like it,” he told the concert goers prior to his performance.</p><p>J-Hope is a member of the South Korean boy group BTS which has been dominating the local and international music scene. They debuted in 2013 with the song “No More Dream” and have since risen to global stardom. Meanwhile, he debuted as the first soloist of the group with his first album, <em>Jack in the Box</em>, which topped the music charts.</p>
