While some fans have eventually to accept his untimely death, there are still those constantly think about “What could have been?” given he was at his prime when he died at a young age of 27.

Yan died of cardiac arrest resulting from hemorrhagic pancreatitis at the Dos Palmas Resort in Puerto Princesa, Palawan in March 2002.

Some fans even started calling Alfy Rico Yan’s “mini me” while others described him as “Little Rico Yan.”

Others even feel like Rico Yan reincarnated in the form of Alfy.

“Parang nabuhay uli si rico yan .. kamukhang kamuka mo tlaga sya,” wrote one fan.

Meanwhile, others expressed their desire to see Alfy enter the world of show business.
