Markus Paterson says his breakup with Janella Salvador was almost a year ago

<p>Actor-musician Markus Paterson broke his silence on Twitter and his Instagram stories last Friday, September 9, and confirmed that he already parted ways with Janella Salvador. They both previously shared that Jude is currently their top priority as their son is growing older.</p><p>“She’s happy in life, and I’m happy in life and our only priority is Jude,” he continued. </p><div><a href="https://push.abs-cbn.com/2022/9/8/fresh-scoops/markus-paterson-i-have-never-and-will-never-lay-202238"><strong><u>READ: Markus Paterson: ‘I have never and will never lay my hands on a woman’</u></strong></a></div><p>The actor also mentioned that it wasn’t Janella he was referring to in his podcast. The actor acknowledged that it could’ve been a misinterpretation since they never announced their breakup.</p><p>In the past week, Markus has been under fire on social media for his remarks on dating someone in the showbiz industry.</p><p>“Kung may lessons ako sa mga relationships ko, never to date someone in the industry, bro. Huwag niyo i-cut iyan, seryoso ako diyan,” he previously shared.</p><p>Meanwhile, Janella also revealed in an interview with Bernadette Sembrano that she is a single mom. The actress has also previously mentioned that she is focusing her energy towards their son. </p><p>Janella gave birth to their son back in October 2020.</p>

In his post, Markus Paterson finally admitted to the breakup and revealed that it has been almost a year since then.
