Following the release of Ely Buendia’s statement on working with guitarist Marcus Adoro for their Eraserheads reunion concert, the latter’s ex-partner, Barbara Ruaro, also broke her silence.

In an interview with NME magazine, the actress shared that it would be the last time she’ll be talking about Marcus.

Barbara revealed in her interview that neither Marcus nor any of his representatives have reached out to her since 2019 when she revealed the abuse she allegedly experienced from the musician. She claimed that the Eraserheads member never tried to have a discussion with her or Syd Hartha, Marcus’s daughter, who also exposed Marcus for his alleged abuses.

“Since 2019, neither Marcus nor any of his representatives have reached out to me, Syd, and our respective families. No apologies were made. No civil discussion ensued. And on his part, no steps were taken towards a clear and final resolution,” she said.

One of Syd’s family members also confirmed Barbara's statement and denied any contact with Marcus since then. The undisclosed family member also shared that any apologies made by the guitarist now will be questionable.

“There have been no attempts to reconcile or resolve anything prior to the concert teasers and announcement. We are also not inclined to accept any apology knowing its sincerity is questionable,” the statement continued.

Barbara shared that she wouldn’t be making any further comment on the reunion concert of the legendary OPM rock band and the inclusion of Marcus. The actress claimed that she is already on her path to achieving peace with a strong support system surrounding her.

“I refuse to comment any further regarding the matter. Personally, I have been working on my own healing and have been blessed with a strong support system. There is nothing else that I desire more than peace, and for my beautiful family to remain protected throughout the course of this predicament,” she told NME magazine.

Meanwhile, Eraserheads is set to hold their reunion concert on December 22, 2022 at the SMDC Festival Grounds in Parañaque City.
