K-Pop groups BLACKPINK and BTS received various nominations at this year's iHeartRadio Music Awards.

On Wednesday, January 11 (US time), iHeartRadio released its set of nominees for this year.

BLACKPINK bagged four nominations including Best Duo/Group of the Year. They will be competing against AJR, Black Eyed Peas, Silk Sonic, Glass Animals, Imagine Dragons, Måneskin, OneRepublic, Parmalee, and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

The girl group was also nominated for three socially voted categories: Favorite Use of a Sample for their song "Pink Venom," which sampled 50 Cent’s "P.I.M.P," Rihanna's "Pon de Replay," and Biggie’s "Kick In The Door"; Best Fan Army; and Best Music Video for "Pink Venom."

Meanwhile, BTS was nominated for Best Music Video as well for "Yet To Come" and Best Fan Army.

BLACKPINK and BTS will be competing for the Best Music Video against "Anti-Hero" by Taylor Swift; "Left and Right" by Charlie Puth and Jungkook; "As It Was" by Harry Styles; "Calm Down" by Rema and Selena Gomez; "Don’t Be Shy" by Tiësto & Karol G; "DON’T YOU WORRY" by Black Eyed Peas, Shakira, David Guetta; “Envovler” by Anitta; and “Tití Me Preguntó” by Bad Bunny.

BLACKPINK released their second album Born Pink on September 16, 2022. The record contains their hit singles "Pink Venom" and "Shut Down." Born Pink debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200, the first album by a female Korean act to do so.

Following the release of their new record, the girl group embarked on their Born Pink World Tour across North America, Asia, Europe, and Oceana. The tour started in Seoul in October 2022.

Meanwhile, BTS released their first anthology album Proof in June 2022. The album's lead single was "Yet to Come." The album became the sixth consecutive number one album of BTS on the US Billboard 200.
