Yassi Pressman is looking fit and strong.

The 27-year-old actress opened up on Instagram about the progress she’s made in her fitness journey, a year after sharing her goals of bouncing back from a “fitness hibernation.”

Posting clips of her workout from 2022 to now, Yassi wrote, “This time last year VS now. It's been up and down, but that's okay.

“Be kind to your body, Be kind to your mind. Never give up on YOU. When you fall, pick yourself up. Keep going.”

In the clip, the More Than Blue actress appears to be strong and fit as she lifts heavy weights, does kickboxing, and goes on an uphill run.

She then thanked her coach, Jun Gayoso, and team for helping her achieve her health and fitness goals for the past year.

“Action film this year???” she added.

It was during the start of 2022 when Yassi decided to end her fitness hibernation and get back on track.

“I had fun letting go and not caring, chomping down all the chips, eating fast food almost every day, drinking all the soda, and snacking at midnight," she said. “But I listened to my body after letting go and I realized I wanted to go back to being strong, and hopefully this time even healthier than before.”

“Loved my thiccccness tho,” she said of her apparent weight gain. “I’m definitely going to TRY to keep that in places where I want it, hihi. Buttt I will definitely also try MY BEST to eliminate the new cellulite that I have developed lol.”

Last year, Yassi opened up about her fitness journey as she was introduced as the calendar girl for a local liquor brand.

“I think it was very public naman the fitness journey that I had to go through this year. I think it’s okay to let go sometimes. Feeling ko kasi minsan everybody is so pressured especially in our industry. Especially sa mga kababaihan, growing up with the standards of beauty. So at that time, I just gave it up for a while. I gave it up for myself. Alam mo yung parang I didn’t care for a minute and then, I just needed that break,” she said.

“After that I started caring again because it was for my long term health naman. So I just needed that break and now that I’m getting back there so it’s a lot of discipline, a lot of working out. I love boxing and Muay Thai so I do a lot of those things,” she added.
