<p dir="ltr">Miss Universe Philippines Celeste Cortesi has been making noise within the pageant community as experts agree that she is a frontrunner in becoming the next Miss Universe. But what we saw was just the prelims and historically, a Miss Universe Philippines usually reserves her best punch at the finals night. Celeste is still in a strong position to win her country’s 5th Miss Universe crown,” Missology wrote.</p><p>Celeste ranked in the second place of their ranking and just below Miss Universe Venezuela Amanda Dudamel.</p><p>Included in Missology’s list are Miss Curacao, Miss Dominican Republic, Miss Puerto Rico, Miss USA, Miss Colombia, Miss Thailand, Miss Jamaica, Miss Mexico, Miss Aruba, Miss Italy, Miss Germany, Miss South Africa, Miss Peru, and Miss Bahrain. </p><p>The pageant analysts shared that Miss Vietnam, Miss Mauritius, Miss Portugal and Miss France are “bubbling up” and making their way to the Top 16.</p><div><a href="https://push.abs-cbn.com/2023/1/12/fresh-scoops/celeste-cortesi-ibinida-si-darna-sa-miss-u-stage-1-204900" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong><u>READ: Celeste Cortesi, ibinida si ‘Darna’ sa National Costume ng Miss U stage</u></strong></a></div><p>Meanwhile, Sash Factor’s Miss Universe 2022 Final SashPick also revealed their fearless forecast and placed Celeste in third place following Venezuela and Colombia who are at first and second place, respectively.</p><p>Fans of Celeste are hopeful that the fearless forecasts will be correct and the Filipina beauty queen will give the fifth Miss Universe crown to the country. She will be competing against 83 other candidates at the coronation night tomorrow, January 15, in New Orleans, Louisiana. </p><p>Celeste trended on social media following her performance in the preliminary round as she donned a Darna-inspired outfit for the National Costume portion of the competition. </p><div><br/></div><div><br/></div>
