Bela Padilla, Marco Gumabao to headline PH adaptation of Korean movie ‘Spellbound’

<p>Bela Padilla is set to headline the Philippine adaptation of the hit South Korean romantic-comedy film <em>Spellbound.</em></p><p>Bela will be starring in the movie with Marco Gumabao, which will be shown in theaters on February 1.</p><p>It was in January 2020 when they began filming but it got delayed due to the pandemic.</p><p>&quot;It was nice working with Marco. It took us a long time to wrap up <em>Spellbound </em>but okay siya talagang katrabaho,&quot; Bela said in an interview with ABS-CBN News.</p><p>She added that Marco was very collaborative throughout the filming process. </p><p>&quot;He was very open on the set. We discussed our scenes together before we executed them,&quot; the actress said.</p><p>&quot;I’m finally glad that Spellbound is finally done and it will be shown on February 1. After three years, we will see this film.&quot; </p><p>In the movie, Bela plays the role of a woman named Yuri who becomes a ghost magnet after she survives a car crash in high school. It starred Son Ye-jin and Lee Min-ki.
