"Achievement unlocked."

These were the words of Catriona Gray as she became part of the recent Miss Universe pageant in New Orleans, Louisiana as a backstage host.

In an Instagram post on Monday, January 16 (Philippine Time), the beauty queen said: "It's always been a dream to be in the hosting lineup of @missuniverse 🥺 Thank you so much @realpaulashugart @amyemmerich for the trust!"

"Also huge thanks to my styling team who worked magic for me last minute and found a way around not being able to have fittings (I was literally in Manila for a few hours to pack 😅) and being in the middle of holiday season! I appreciate you!" she wrote.

She added: "And to Mama @justine.aliman19 (fashion stylus) for stepping out of her usual role to be my everything this trip! 🤗 Love you!"

In her Instagram account, the Miss Universe 2018 also penned a message for her backstage co-host, American Ninja Warrior reporter Zuri Hall.

"Loooved working with this amazingly talented being @zurihall ! Such a pleasure co hosting @missuniverse backstage with you! Between the laughs and the dancing, it almost didn't feel like work at all! ❤💛" Catriona wrote.

The beauty queen also wrote a message for the new Miss Universe, Filipino-American beauty queen R'Bonney Gabriel.
