<p>Filipino designer Rian Fernandez shared the meaning behind the evening gown of newly crowned Miss Universe 2022 R&#x27;Bonney Gabriel of the United States at the pageant&#x27;s coronation night.</p><p>On his Instagram page, Rian talked about what the colors and accents in R&#x27;Bonney&#x27;s gown represented.</p><p>&quot;The black color of the gown represents competence and sophistication. The gunmetal accents epitomize strength and remarkable resilience of R’bonney and power of the United States of America,&quot; he shared.</p><p>&quot;The black onyx and the glass mirror drops are symbols of reflection and self growth. The fringe skirt depicts the movement of life with blue sapphire swarovski stones that stands for the new era of emerging women.
