Months after the announcement of concert organizer PULP Live World that they will bringing AOMG’s Follow the Movement tour to Manila, the show finally happened last January 18 at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City. Filipino fans were treated to more than three hours of music from their favorite artists such as Simon Dominic, YUGYEOM, GRAY, LOCO, among others.

The fans of the South Korean artists arrived as early as 1 pm at the venue to get in line for the 6 pm show.

South Korean rapper Woo started off the show with a bang as he performed his songs “R.I.P.,” “Chik Chik Pok Pok,” and “Chingiz Khan.” He was the last addition to the Asian leg of AOMG’s tour but he made sure to let the audience feel his presence.

Meanwhile, LeeHi captured the emotions of the crowd as she sang some of her hit songs such as “ONLY,” “Breathe,” and “Savior.” The South Korean singer couldn’t believe the screams and support they were receiving during the concert.

“We were talking backstage and we said you guys are our real fans, right?” she asked the crowd.

LOCO was surprised to hear the audience sing along to “Say Yes,” the K-Drama song he sang years ago. He promised the fans that he will perform the song again towards the end of the show as he needed more time to practice.

Meanwhile, GRAY shared how excited he was to perform in Manila as it was his first time in the country.

“It’s my first time in Manila and I love it. It’s lit,” he shared.

GOT7’s YUGYEOM added how he missed the Filipino crowd as it has been a while since he last performed in the country. He shared that it felt different performing with AOMG and GOT7 but at the same time he could still feel the love from his fans.

“I’ve been to [the] Philippines as GOT7 before, I feel new here with my AOMG crew. I feel so good cause you guys are enjoying the show,” he said.

Simon Dominic was the last to perform individually and he made sure to get the crowd hyped up. He performed some of his hit songs such as “Simon Dominic,” “DAx4,” and “room type.”

He tried his best to communicate with his Filipino fans as he spoke in Tagalog during his introduction. He shared how he always wanted to visit and perform in the country as he knows how energetic the crowd is.

“Kumusta kayo, ako si Simon Dominic. Magandang Gabi po. This is my first time coming to Manila. I’m really happy to visit the Philippines with this great opportunity,” he added.

AOMG is home to most of the well-known South Korean hip-hop and R&B artists. The company was founded by rapper-songwriter Jay Park back in 2013. The Philippine leg tour was made possible by PULP Live World.
