The said project with Viu marks another milestone of ABS-CBN and GMA's partnership following the historic deal of the two networks in April 2022 when GMA began airing Star Cinema films on its local channels.

In a statement back in April last year, GMA Network President and Chief Operating Officer Gilberto R. Duavit, Jr. remarked that their partnership with Star Cinema films could paved the way for more partnership with ABS-CBN in the future.
