"The ensemble cast set to break boundaries will be revealed soon! January 23, 2023. 12 nn," Viu wrote.

Netizens were quick to express their excitement about the collaboration.

"Good job! No to network war.. Kapuso ❤ Kapamilya❤," one netizen wrote.

"Another milestone for media partnership," another netizen posted.

The said project with Viu marks another milestone of ABS-CBN and GMA's partnership following the historic deal of the two networks in April 2022 when GMA began airing Star Cinema films on its local channels.

In a statement back in April last year, GMA Network President and Chief Operating Officer Gilberto R. Duavit, Jr. remarked that their partnership with Star Cinema films could paved the way for more partnership with ABS-CBN in the future.

"To us, we are very pleased because the significance of our partnership today ushers in possibility of a far broader set of conversations, potential partnerships and cooperation that will have the benefit not only mutually to GMA and ABS-CBN but as importantly, if not perhaps  more importantly, to the benefit of the public we both serve – the Filipino viewer," Gilberto said.

"Looking forward, since we have as they say, broken the ice, there is great optimism that these conversations will start and continue, and we look forward to the possibility of this type of an opportunity again moving forward," he added.
