Janine Gutierrez wants to work again with Dolly de Leon after ‘Dirty Linen’

Janine Gutierrez took to social  media to pen a message for her Dirty Linen  co-star Dolly de Leon.

Dolly played the role of Olivia in the series, the mother of Alexa (Janine) who was killed by an unidentified person in the Fiero mansion. Alexa seeks to avenge the death of her mother in the series by working at the Fiero household as a housekeeper named Mila dela Cruz.

"Mami ko!!!!!!! Igaganti kita 😡😡😡 So happy to work with you Miss @dollyedeleon!" Janine posted on her Instagram page.

"I'm a fan 4ever and I will always treasure this little talk. Thank you thank youuuu ❤️😍😉 Gawa tayo ulit please??" she added.

Prior to the premiere of Dirty Linen , Dolly had been bagging several nominations and awards from several prestigious award-giving bodies abroad for her performance in the film Triangle of Sadness.

Dolly became the first Filipina to be nominated at the Golden Globes and BAFTA after she received Best Supporting Actress nominations.

She also won a Best Supporting Performer award from the Los Angeles Film Critics Association in 2022. Dolly also won Best Supporting Actress awards from Guldbagge Awards and North Dakota Film Society.

Meanwhile, Janine also extended her gratitude to those who tuned in and supported the premiere week of Dirty Linen via her social media post.

"Thank youuuu soooo much to everyone who's been watching Dirty Linen!! Sobrang nagpapasalamat kami sa lahat ng magandang feedback at excitement at Twitter trends! At memes. Haha," Janine wrote.

"Thank you guys and I sweaaar, umpisa pa lang ng suspense."

In a recent interview with the media before the premiere of the series, Janine shared her experience playing a complex character like Alexa.

"'Yung gumaganap na Mila sa mansion tapos 'pag hindi na nakatingin 'tong mayayaman, bigla akong magbibigay ng galit na role (as Alexa). There’s a shift so that was the most tricky part for me,” she said in an interview with PhilStar.

She added, "So, you really have to find the core of your character. As an actor, it’s a bit confusing for me because I am Alexa in real life, seeking justice. But when I’m inside the Fiero mansion, I am Mila who appears innocent and naive."

Dirty Linen airs weeknights on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z, and TV5. It also airs on iWantTFC.
