<p>Dolly de Leon opened up about her thoughts as the Golden Globe Awards ceremony draws closer. The actress was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in <em>Triangle of Sadness</em>.</p><p>Dolly is the first Filipino to be nominated at the Golden Globes which she will attend on January 10 in Los Angeles, California.</p><p>&quot;I am hoping na manalo tayo but if another actress wins, then she also deserves it,&quot; she said in an interview with ABS-CBN News at the send-off event hosted by Film Development Council of the Philippines Chair Tirso Cruz III on Monday, January 2.</p><p>&quot;Please, huwag na kayong mag-expect! Lumipad sila papuntang Pilipinas, tapos, pina-arte nila sa akin &#x27;yung tatlong eksena, na nagbibigay ako ng pagkain, &#x27;yung hindi nila binantayan &#x27;yung fire, at &#x27;yung isa pang eksena ni Abigail,&quot; she relayed.</p><p>She added, &quot;In-audition ko lahat &#x27;yun, may sides, binigay lang nila ang sides o mga eksena lang, hindi ko nabasa ang script.&quot;</p><p>The actress attributed her success in the international scene to her learnings from Philippine cinema.</p><p>“Parang naging training ground ko ang lahat ng iyon para matuto... Para magawa ko itong ginagawa ko now,” she stated.</p>
