Taeyang and Jimin to release a collaboration song this month

<p>Second generation K-Pop idol Taeyang of BIGBANG is set to release a collaboration with Jimin of BTS which is set to be released on January 13, 2023. Apart from Taeyang’s first release this year, it will also mark his return to the music industry as a soloist after six years.</p><p>Fans of the both boy groups are excited for the much anticipated collaboration. This was already being talked about on social media early December of last year but wasn’t confirmed by BigHit Entertainment or THEBLACKLABEL until this year.  </p><p>Jimin has been known to be a longtime fan of the 34-year-old musician. He covered the latter’s hit song “Eyes, Nose, Lips” back in 2014 on a music show.</p><div><a href="https://push.abs-cbn.com/2022/2/1/fresh-scoops/bts-member-jimin-undergoes-appendectomy-tests-pos-198296"><u><strong>READ: BTS member Jimin undergoes appendectomy; tests positive for COVID-19<br/></strong></u></a></div><p>Before 2022 ended, YG Entertainment announced that Taeyang officially left their agency after being with them for more than a decade. The BIGBANG member moved to the associate company, THEBLACKLABEL.</p><p>He is one of the three members of the K-Pop boy group BIGBANG who departed YG Entertainment. T.O.P. left back in February 2022 while Daesung left the agency a day after Taeyang did. Meanwhile, G-Dragon remains to be the only member left in the agency but is still in talks on his contract renewal.</p><p>Despite three out of the four members leaving YG Entertainment, they have assured their fans that BIGBANG will still continue to create music.</p>
