Kapamilya actress Francine Diaz expressed her gratitude to ABS-CBN after being selected to be one of the co-hosts of the upcoming game show It’s Your Lucky Day. She will be joining fellow hosts Luis Manzano, Robi Domingo, and Melai Cantiveros.

The noontime game show will temporarily replace It’s Showtime for two weeks following the latter’s 12-day suspension imposed by the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB).

Joining Francine in her hosting duties is her onscreen partner, Seth Fedelin. The young actress admitted in an interview with ABS-CBN News that they are both lucky to be included in the lineup of the upcoming noontime variety program. 

“I'm very happy kasi pinili nila ako kami nila Seth na mapasali sa 'Lucky Day', we're very lucky. I feel very grateful kasi sa dinami-rami ng artista sa ABS-CBN, kami yung napili. Saka lagi ko ngang sinasabi, work yan. Kailangan natin ng work!" she said.

Francine admitted that she was a bit scared to accept the hosting job as it wasn’t her usual project. 

"Sabi ko kung kailan takot akong gawin ang isang bagay, doon ko pipiliin yun kasi doon ako maggo-grow eh," she shared.

When asked about what she feels most nervous about, the Kapamilya star revealed how it would be challenging to join in the friendly banter that is set to happen on the program. 

“Ang challenging part is yung makisabay ka sa spiels. Kasi may mga adlib, so ang hirap nung ano ba 'yung ipapasok ko dito. Sasabihin ko na ba yung line ko or pwede ba akong mag-adlib or wag na lang baka pumanget. Timing and critical thinking," she added.

Joining Seth and Francine on the list of the young hosts are Andrea Brillantes and Kyle Echarri. The two pairs will be hosting on different days throughout the duration of the noontime variety program. 

Meanwhile, It’s Showtime will serve its 12-day suspension from October 14 until October 28.
