Kylie Verzosa wraps up filming for ‘Elevator’

<p>Kylie Verzosa has wrapped up filming for her upcoming movie opposite leading man Paulo Avelino, <em>Elevator.</em></p><p>The 31-year-old actress shared behind-the-scenes photos of the film in an Instagram post on Sunday, October 15.</p><p>“2 months of filming, months of preparation and few weeks abroad filming. From being a titleholder, she transitioned into a showbiz figure and later on, an actor.</p><p>Last year, Kylie reached a huge milestone in her acting career after winning best actress at the 2022 Distinctive International Arab Festivals Awards in Dubai. </p><p>She was recognized for her outstanding performance in Viva Films’<em> The Housemaid</em>, which marked her first lead role in a feature film.</p><p>On what made her decide to dabble in acting, Kylie said: &quot;After the beauty queen thing happened, people just started knocking on my door and I felt like I wanted to try it.&quot;</p><p>&quot;I think you’re really a beauty queen only during your reign. So, what do you do with it when your reign is over? In my case, I was ready, eager to see what was next for me,” she added.</p><p>She also credited her former boyfriend, actor Jake Cuenca, for influencing her career.</p><p>“Through him I learned to love acting even more. His passion is sobrang nakakahawa!” she said. “But honestly, acting has been a hidden dream of mine talaga since I was a kid.”</p><p>A release date for <em>Elevator, </em>which also stars Singaporean actor Adrian Pang, has yet to be announced as of this writing.</p>
