Kapamilya actress Lovi Poe and her husband Monty Blencowe are currently prioritizing their individual careers and have no immediate plans for starting a family.

The Batang Quiapo actress revealed in an interview with the press that she shared this during the launch of Imono Jewelry's holiday collection earlier this week.

Lovi and Monty tied the knot earlier this year at the Cliveden House in the United Kingdom.

“So far right now we just want to focus sa work and us being together,” she revealed.

After her wedding, she immediately returned to Batang Quiapo  to resume taping where she plays Coco Martin's love interest.

Lovi then admitted that she and Monty haven’t gone on their honeymoon yet as they don’t have a destination set as of writing.

She happily asked the media to recommend some honeymoon destinations so that she and her partner could check them out.

“Wala pa. So if you guys have any suggestions, mayroon diyan box then you can put in locations na pwede naming puntahan,” she quipped.

Despite both being career-driven, Lovi expressed her gratitude towards Monty for being patient and understanding of her work.

“Buti na lang he is taking it in a positive way. He wants to see me shine, succeed as an individual, kaya sobrang suwerte ko na ganoon siya. I know na we're on the next level, next stage but he still wants to see me fly,” she said.

“Sabi ko nga the fact that I was able to head back straight to work after getting married in less than a week. ... I think it's possible as long as you are ready, you have a proper mindset. And you are doing it for the right things," she added.

"I have my career, I want to have a proper balance for things talaga. It's just great that I have a strong support system around me. My husband is very supportive and also [has a] great team here who's helping me with work. So in between talaga," she continued.

Lovi and Monty had already been engaged for several years prior to their recent wedding.

The actress only publicly announced their engagement this year, after informing their family and close friends.
