Fans are liking James Reid’s new hairdo.

After a year of sporting bleached, blonde hair, the “u & i” singer surprised his fans when he shared photos of his new look on Instagram on Monday, October 2. 

The snaps show James, 30, sporting a new haircut, which he also had dyed back to black, while out on the streets of Paris.

“Check out my new socks,” he captioned the photos.

James, 30, was joined by his girlfriend Issa Pressman during his trip to Paris.

The two confirmed being an official couple after being spotted together at Harry Styles’ “Love on Tour” concert in Manila last March.

In a statement confirming their romance, James stressed that the past rumors involving him and Issa “are just that, rumors.”

"I usually NEVER address bashers or get involved in hate culture but I feel the need to speak up now because this is the start of something beautiful. And I'm not gonna let anyone take that from me," he said.

"All you need to know from me is that I'm the happiest I've ever been," he added.

Opening up about their relationship to PUSH, Issa said that she and James are obsessed with taking care of each other.

“He’s obsessed with me, I’m obsessed with him,” she said. “Like making sure that we eat, making sure we’re eating right… He’s making sure that my health is correct because of my throat operation. He makes sure that I don’t talk much when I’m not supposed to.”

She also talked about the challenges they’ve faced as a couple, and how she and James have come out of it stronger.

“I think that for every single couple who goes through challenges, that’s a good test to know how you’re going to be there for each other. I think that moment really proved to me how much of a supportive boyfriend I have,” Issa said.

“I really felt like, I wouldn’t have gone through that situation if it wasn’t for him. He really made me feel comfortable, strong, safe, very much protected. And he always made me see the positive in every single negative, you know, and that brought up the positivity in me… But I’m happy. We’re happy,” she stressed.

For his part, James said, “It’s honestly better than ever. Like, we’ve been through a lot this year and it really tested us and it made us even stronger, like, more than I could’ve imagined. And I’m just happy.”

James was previously in a long-term relationship with actress Nadine Lustre. He and Nadine confirmed their split in January 2020 after being together for nearly four years.
