The Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced that the Manila International Film Festival (MIFF) is set to have its premiere on November 2. The film festival will be held on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles, California.

Three movies from the Summer MMFF will have their screenings in Hollywood, including About Us But Not About Us starring Romnick Sarmenta and Elijah Canlas; Here Comes The Groom starring Enchong Dee, Miles Ocampo, and Kaladkaren; and Love You Long Time starring Carlo Aquino and Eisel Serrano.

According to MMDA, the red-carpet premiere will include a VIP reception, an opportunity to meet and interact with the filmmakers and stars from the three featured titles, and a Q&A session focusing on the MIFF.

"Through the MIFF, we can showcase, promote, and help uplift Filipino films from the Philippines to Hollywood, and hopefully, to other parts of the world," MMDA Acting Chairman and concurrent MMFF Chairman Atty. Don Artes said in a press release.
