Singer Kiana Valenciano expressed her gratitude to her good friend Ria Atayde for playing cupid in her relationship with Sandro Tolentino, who is now her fiancé.

This as she shared photos from her wedding preparations with Ria, whom she referred to as her "soon-to-be cousin-in-law."

"From after-school hangs to hunting down wedding venues with my soon-to-be cousin-in-law," wrote Kiana. "Thank you for introducing me to the love of my life Ririiiii."

"Love you forever," replied Ria.

It was in August when music veteran Gary Valenciano proudly announced that Kiana is engaged in an Instagram post showing his daughter's engagement ring.

"Friends? Ladies and gentlemen? Brothers and sisters? My beautiful forever-princess’ ring says it all. I love you @kianavee !!! Am so happy for you," Gary wrote.

"So much I want to tell you Kiana… but I think I will save that for a day when you and I can just sit and talk… Just you and I before the big day arrives and the wedding bells toll. My heart tugs but not with sadness my dearest princess…but with the joy of the Lord for how He has orchestrated your life…and how He will continue to do so," he said. "I’m thankful for the young man the Lord allowed to find you. Love you too @senditdro … what a joy it is to have you in the V family."

His wife, Angeli Pangilinan, also shared the happy news on Instagram while introducing Sandro. 

"And she said YES! My heart is full. The Lord be praised as our baby girl is getting married!" Angeli said. 

"Introducing US-based Lisandro Tolentino aka Sandro. Our family is so happy to have Kiana’s plus one added to our growing family," she wrote. "We love you son. Thank you for making her happy. Praying for this new season in your lives that now will become 'your life together.' The Lord bless you and keep you safe and protected all the days of your life! We love you both so so much."
