Actress Arci Muñoz recalled an unfortunate experience she had on her flight back to the Philippines after a vacation in Japan.

In a post on her TikTok account, Arci warned the public of the possible modus operandi while taking flights and traveling.

On November 10, the 34-year-old actress boarded Korean Air flight KE 704, which departed from Narita, Japan and had a one-hour layover in Incheon, South Korea before landing in Manila.

Traveling in business class, the actress was resting thinking it would be safe and sound for her trip back home.

At the time when the plane was about to land, she woke up and found that a man was standing in her cubicle area seemingly getting a magazine from there.

Arci, who didn’t suspect anything, let the man get it. However, a kind-hearted passenger was brave enough to speak out about something suspicious.

The passenger asked her if she knew the guy which she denied. The passenger then confronted the guy asking him, “Why did you touch her bag?”

Shocked by what she heard, Arci immediately scanned her seat area looking for her belongings. She found that her bag was on the floor near the aisle, far from her designated window seat.

As per the actress's narrative, the woman continued to interrogate the man. “That’s not okay. Why did you touch her bag?’

The other passengers then called the flight attendant and told them about the incident. However, the man continued to deny doing anything.

Arci said that she wasn't suspecting him at first as the man looked "decent."

“I was thinking, ano 'to modus talaga nila? Sumasakay talaga sila ng business class? They fly?”

The Always Be My Maybe actress then thought she was okay as there wasn’t anything missing during her initial scan of her bag after the incident.

However, days after the incident, Arci received a notification from her bank.

“Someone was using my credit card, my card, sa Ho Chi Minh sa Vietnam and sa Jakarta.”

Arci warned everyone that, "there is a dangerous world out there and you can’t be really safe, so you have to be really alert."

She also emphasized the importance of being mindful of your belongings and surroundings.

The actress shared that her bank already made a move to prevent someone from using her card.

“I’m doing this video para lang you guys are aware na may mga ganitong modus kahit sa eroplano. The world is not a safe place, okay?” she expressed.

She also noted that she wasn’t able to do anything about the suspect right away since she had very little time before her next flight and that she left her email address with the airline to follow up on the case.

“Dapat wala na mabiktima sa mga ganito,” she said after asking for the airline to immediately respond to the incident to prevent more people falling victim in the future,

As of this writing, there is still no update or statement from the airline company.
