Melai Cantiveros nominated as Best Game Show host in the 28th Asian Television Awards

Kapamilya comedian Melai Cantiveros added another feather to her cap after she got nominated as Best Quiz or Game Show Host at the 28th Asian Television Awards.

Melai is currently hosting the PIE Channel game show Ur Da Boss.

In an episode of Ur Da Boss, her co-host Jennica Garcia extended her congratulatory message for Melai.

"Congratulations siyempre kay partner at sa PIE Channel at sa lahat ng bumbuo rin ng Ur Da Boss," Jennica said.

"Maraming salamat sa inyo. Thank you Asian TV Awards," Melai replied.

It was in May when the first episode of Ur Da Boss aired on PIE Channel.

Back in May, Melai penned a heartfelt post as she marked a new chapter in her career as a game show host.

"Lord maraming salamat sa pagkakataon na itu na binigay mu sa akin 🙏🏻 Salamat sa pagbulong mu sa @iampieofficial na ako ang maging host sa 'Ur Da Boss,' Salamat sa mga mahal nming mga Boss sa @iampieofficial na nagpabulong nmn kay Lord para ako ang piliin . Gagawin ko ang best ko at makakaasa po kayu," she wrote on her social media page.

She also commended the staff and crew of the game show.

"Sa mga kasama ko Ur Da Boss, mga nag isip ng show ang Bilib ko ay sa inyu mula sa nag mount ng shiw , writers , staff crew and Direktor grabe kayu wala kayung tulog para magawa ang show na itu , ang gagaling ng talino ninyu , di kona kayu isa isahin , kilala nyu na sarili nyu kasi pag may nakalimutan ako , ayaw kung may magtampo❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️," she said.

She added: "Sa mga Boss nating Katropie Salmaat sa panonood nyu , para po sa inyu tu , supportahan nyu po kmi at ang buong @iampieofficial PieChannel kasi pag nananalo po kayu Panalo narin po kaming taga @PieChannel ❤️🙏🏻 Ur Da Boss 7-8pm sa Piechannel."

Ur Da Boss airs on PIE Channel from Monday to Friday every 7pm. 

The 28th Asian Television Awards will be held in Vietnam in January 2024.
