Meanwhile, netizens praised the beauty queen for her impeccable performance during the preliminary round of Miss Universe. Some commented how she has continuously improved her skills over such a short amount of time.

“In a sea of outdated evening gowns, Michelle Dee's edgy but super classy Mark Bumgarner masterpiece is a standout...reminds me of the Crazy Rich Asians movie...love it,” a netizen praised Michelle’s choice of gown.

“Ang linis at maaliwalas, She's enjoying every moment, raise our flag,” another netizen added.

Aside from her walk and stunning outfits, the 28-year-old beauty queen recently trended on social media as she introduced the country as “Filipinas” instead of the usual “Philippines” during opening presentation.

The Miss Universe 2023 pageant will be broadcast live from El Salvador on November 19, 9 a.m. on the Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, Metro Channel, and iWantTFC.
