<p>Michelle Dee shared the reason she decided to cut her hair ahead of the Miss Universe pageant.</p><p>In a video interview uploaded by ABS-CBN News, the beauty queen remarked that with her short hair, she wanted to send the message that everyone can shine in their own individuality.</p><p>&quot;I really believe it highlights my personality. The beauty queen expressed her gratitude to the fans who came to see her before she left the Philippines.</p><p>&quot;Sobrang nakakataba ng puso. Kung hindi lang ako naka makeup umiiyak na ako right now, so overwhelming talaga. I can&#x27;t believe that I am about to fly. Konting araw sa LA pero malapit na po. Malapit na &#x27;yung laban [sa El Salvador]. Hindi pa tapos but I will give everything that I have just for all of you,&quot; she remarked.</p><p>The Miss Universe will happen in El Salvador on November 18 (November 19 in the Philippines).</p>
