Gabby Concepcion is one proud father.

The 59-year-old actor supported his daughter KC Concepcion at the Manila premiere of the Hollywood film Asian Persuasion held Monday, November 27.

Taking to Instagram, Gabby praised KC and the rest of the cast for doing a great job in the movie.

“I’ve never had so much fun watching a movie in a long time! Honestly, It was entertaining to watch 'ASIAN PERSUASION'. THEY WERE SO FUNNY!” he wrote.

“Before the movie started, I had a chance to meet and chat with the group in the holding area. So cool ACTORS! THE COMEDY was simply down to earth. Honestly, I did not know what to expect. I think a good movie starts with a good script. They achieved it,” he said.

“Nice script! Beautiful sound track and scoring! Choice of music fit perfectly well for the scenes. Great work to the director! Thanks to the producers for getting the team together.”

He then gave a sweet shoutout to KC for her role in the film, which marked her return to the big screen after a 10-year hiatus from acting.

“Congratulations to my daughter, KC, for landing a role in this movie! You make me proud! You can be anyone you want to! You make us all proud,” he wrote.

“CHEERS to the ACTORS who gave LIFE, comedy and drama to their roles. Thanks for making us laugh and cry at the same time,” he added. “You are all an inspiration to us, your viewers, your fans. Must watch! ENTERTAINING and Funny!”

At the premiere of Asian Persuasion on Monday, KC thanked her dad for coming despite his hectic work schedule.

“Papa thank you for coming, alam ko sobrang busy mo,” she said.

Also present during the event were director Jhett Tolentino, writer Mike Ang, and actors Paolo Montalban, Dante Basco, Fe delos Reyes, Kevin Kreider, and Geneva Carr.

The movie — which follows a divorcee (Dante) who comes up with an outlandish plan to avoid alimony obligations to his fashion executive ex-wife (KC) — already made its world premiere in the US in October.
