Taylor Swift’s ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’ sells 1.65 million units in its first week

<p>Taylor Swift has achieved another massive feat on the Billboard charts.</p><p>The singer&#x27;s<em> 1989 (Taylor&#x27;s Version) </em>debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. It&#x27;s her 13th number one album to date. The album sold 1.653 million equivalent album units earned in the U.S. in its debut week.</p><p>According to Billboard, 1.359 million of the album units sold were traditional album sales which surpassed the record of the previous <em>1989 </em>album which sold 1.287 in its first week. Meanwhile it gained 288,000 streaming equivalent albums (SEA) which equates to 375.49 million on-demand official streams. Seven songs from the album made it to the top 10 including &quot;Is It Over Now? (Taylor&#x27;s Version)&quot; in No. 1, &quot;Now That We Don&#x27;t Talk&quot; (Taylor&#x27;s Version)&quot; in No. 2, &quot;Slut!
