P-Pop boy group SB19 is now free to use and promote themselves once again under the same name after they successfully cleared pending issues with their former company ShowBT Philippines Corp., as revealed by member Josh Cullen in an interview last week.

It was earlier this month when their new company, 1Z Entertainment, announced that they had “come to an amicable agreement” with the former company to use the name SB19.

“We got it settled, maayos na lahat. Nagkaroon kami ng maayos na usapan and yun ang pinakaimportante kasi sabi ko nga kaya nagkakagiyera kasi hindi inaayos and everything stops siyempre kapag nagpaapekto ka at tumigil ka,” Josh shared in an interview with ABS-CBN News.

The SB19 member added that getting the name back meant a lot to the five of them.

“For us ang pinakamahalaga ngayon, we got our name and we got to promote as SB19 again and move forward, yun yung pinakaimportante sa amin and I have my brothers with me. Everything else, siguro yung mga nangyari ganoon naman talaga. Normal sa buhay yun, sa araw-araw, ang importante nagkaayos kaming lahat,” he said.

“It is rough pero kasi mentally hindi ka dapat nagpapaapekto ... sabi ko nga eh get right kumbaga ikaw mismo as yourself, you make the right choices,” he added.

It was only last November when the boy group announced that several of the stops for the Asia leg of their "Pagtatag" tour were canceled.

The sudden announcement met mixed reactions from fans, but they still chose to express their support.

Meanwhile, their Japan stop has been postponed until further notice, as announced by 1Z Entertainment. They shared that the new date would most likely be in the first quarter of 2024.

SB19 recently celebrated its fifth anniversary last October 28 at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, wherein thousands of their fans showed up to the occasion.
