Matteo Guidicelli is looking forward to starting a family with Sarah Geronimo.

During the press conference of his film Penduko, the 33-year-old actor opened up about his desire to have kids with Sarah when asked to share his Christmas wish this year.

"For 2024 and in the future, sana magka-baby na kami. In God’s time,” he said.

Regardless of the gender of their baby, Matteo said he is ready to become a father.

“At the end of the day, my priority is my wife and family so I think that’s part of the plan. But again you can’t plan too hard because it’s God that uses this blessing. So we just hope for the best and do what we have to do,” he said.

“Whatever comes, whatever happens, happens. Let’s just pray for that," he added.

Speaking on PUSH Bets Live last November, both Matteo and Sarah also discussed the prospect of building their own family.

“Siyempre ‘yun po ang goal natin. In God’s time… In God’s perfect time,” she said.

They also opened up about their married life, with Sarah saying she couldn’t be happier.

“Alam niyo sobra akong masuwerte and proud po sa asawa ko kung paano niya naja-juggle, napagsasabay lahat. He’s a businessman, an actor, a husband… Talagang nagagampanan niya lahat ng roles niya at talagang masasabi kong masuwerte po akong misis,” Sarah said.

For his part, Matteo said of his wife, “Sarah’s the best in many ways. Words cannot describe.”

The two celebrated their third wedding anniversary early this year. They tied the knot at a private ceremony in Taguig on February 20, 2020, after seven years as a couple.
