The two exchanged vows in Bataan on November 11, 2021, after less than a year together.</p><p>On their wedding anniversary, both took to social media to celebrate the milestone.</p><p>“Exactly a year ago you thought you were going to die. But here we are, sooo alive! Happy anniversary my forever GOR! I have my IUD but I’m going to have it taken out this June. So hopefully.”</p><p>Both Ellen and Derek have sons from previous relationships — Elias, whom the former shares with actor John Lloyd Cruz, and Austin, from Derek’s past marriage to model Mary Christine Jolly.</p>
