It appears that KC Concepcion has a new romance in her life.

On Valentine’s Day, the actress and jewelry designer sparked rumors of a new relationship after posting on Instagram a clip of herself in another country with a man. KC, 37, held off from showing his face until the last few seconds of the video, with many of her friends and fans reacting excitedly to the “soft launch.”

“Happy Valentines, beautiful people,” KC captioned the post, along with a woman fairy and rose emojis.

While she didn’t tag him in the clip, entertainment websites have identified KC’s date as Steve Michael Wuethrich, a Swiss-Filipino banker based in Zurich, Switzerland. He and KC are believed to have been dating since early this year, and have reportedly been spotted several times here in the Philippines and in Switzerland.

KC, the daughter of “Megastar” Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion, has famously dated Piolo Pascual, Paulo Avelino, and Aly Borromeo in the past. Her last known relationship was with Frenchman Pierre Plassart; they broke up in 2019 after dating for over a year.

KC was most recently linked to Black Eyed Peas member Apl.de.Ap. However, the actress has since shut down rumors of a romantic relationship, stating in an interview that she and the Grammy-winning rapper were never an item. 

“Hindi [naging kami]. Very close kami, I love the guy. I respect him, I admire him. Pinapatawa niya ako nang sobra, mabait siya sa akin. Hindi naman, he’s very busy with work as well. Whatever will be, will be. No, hindi kami,” she said.

At the time, KC also opened up about her love life and dating in her late 30s. 

“Dito sa States, ang hirap mag-date. Minsan akala mo serious, ‘yun pala casual lang pala,” she said.

“I’m in my 30s. I’m not going to lie, I definitely take relationships more seriously now. Tapos I dream na one day ako naman ang ikakasal, kasi kinasal na ‘yung sister ko sa Sweden. My gosh, naunahan pa ako!” she added, referring to her sister Cloie Skarne, who got married in Sweden last July 2022.
