<p>Bruce Willis&#x27;s family has announced that the Hollywood actor has been diagnosed with dementia.</p><p>The family of the actor released a statement via www.theaftd.org, revealing that Bruce has frontotemporal dementia.</p><p>&quot;Since we announced Bruce’s diagnosis of aphasia in spring 2022, Bruce’s condition has progressed and we now have a more specific diagnosis: frontotemporal dementia (known as FTD). Unfortunately, challenges with communication are just one symptom of the disease Bruce faces,&quot; the family said in the statement.</p><p>&quot;While this is painful, it is a relief to finally have a clear diagnosis.&quot;</p><p>The family shared that FTD is the most common type of dementia for people under 60 and there are no treatments for the disease at the time being.
