Chito Miranda raises 235K for bandmate Gab Chee Kee

<p class="p1">“Walang Iwanan Sa Parokya Band,” is what Chito Miranda promises, more than a month after revealing that his bandmate and guitarist Gab Chee Kee had been hospitalized for lymphoma and in the ICU due to complications. He and the rest of his Parokya ni Edgar bandmates continue with their efforts to raise more funds for medical expenses everyday.</p><p class="p1">Last week, Chito opened up bidding for items that can be considered classic band memorabilia.</p><div class="p3"><a href="https://push.abs-cbn.com/2023/2/15/chito-miranda-opens-bidding-for-parokya-ni-edgar-memorabilia-239"></a><span class="s1"><a href="https://push.abs-cbn.com/2023/2/15/chito-miranda-opens-bidding-for-parokya-ni-edgar-memorabilia-239"><strong>READ:Chito Miranda opens bidding for Parokya ni Edgar memorabilia</strong></a></span></div><p class="p1">The items included the specially made school uniform Chito wore in their music video for the song “Bagsakan”, which was shot alongside fellow OPM icons Gloc-9 and the late Francis Magalona. He also offered up the two puppets named Mr. Suave and Chito Matsing that can be seen on the cover of their 2005 album <em>Halina Sa Parokya</em>. The Eraserheads recently auctioned off a signed guitar for ₱1.3M with all proceeds going to Gab’s medical bills.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></p>
